Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is vested with the responsibility of Maintenance and Development of Trunk and Regional Roads Networks in Tanzania Mainland It is also responsible in conducting Axle Load Control Operations using weighbridges scales

The Regional Manager TANROADS Mbeya on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS is looking for suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill vacant positions available for Engineers, Social Welfare Officer and Accounts Officer as follows;

Position Title: Accounts Officer II (1 POST)

Accounts Officer II at TANROADS

Scope of Position:

The successful candidate should be ready to work for considerable lengths of time when required under minimum supervision.

Holders of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Accountancy, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration majoring in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent qualification from recognized Institutions or Intermediate Certificate (Module D) issued by NBAA or other related qualifications recognized by NBAA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To prepare financial budget:
• To collect income;
• To prepare payments;
• To prepare financial reports;
• To undertake bank reconciliation;
• To record financial transactions;
• To process and record financial transactions;
• To maintain and update Fixed Assets Register;
• To undertake annual stock-taking; and
• To perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
